Earrings

How do I take care of my earrings?

Your earrings can last a long time if you take good care of them and handle them gently. Keep them away from chemicals, pets, small children, and sharp objects that can scratch the surface. See the full Care Instructions here. You will also receive care instructions with your order!

What if the item I want is out of stock or I want a different color?

You can sign up to the waitlist on the product listing page to be notified when it comes back in stock. If there is no waitlist subscription button, it means I won’t be making any more of this item.

What if I'm sensitive to stainless steel?

Some listings have an option to substitute the earring findings for 925 silver. This checkbox is just above the “add to cart” button. Add this to your order and I will make you a pair with 925 silver earrings!

If your desired listing does not have this option, you can always send me an email or DM me on Instagram and I’ll let you know if I can make it especially for you with 925 silver instead!

Are your earrings heavy?

Far from it! Polymer clay is extremely lightweight. Studs are usually under 1 gram each. XL studs and dangles are usually around 1-2 grams each. Far lighter than most earrings and the feedback I get from customers is that they are extremely comfortable to wear all day.

What materials do you use for earring findings and posts?

Every product listing details the materials used – but almost always I use stainless steel. Stainless steel is super durable – it’s strong and doesn’t change color. See the question on sensitivity to stainless steel for options on using different materials.

Orders + Shipping

What if I filled in incorrect shipping information?

Please email me urgently with your order number and correct shipping address and I will change your information.

Unfortunately, if your order has already been sent, there is nothing I can do.

Do you do combined shipping?

ONLY if you message me before you place the second order. I will then send you a coupon for free shipping for the second order. The quickest way to get my attention is a DM on Instagram (and post a comment on one of my posts that you DM’ed me if you have not contacted me before). Otherwise an email to susan@claymeleon.com will work too!

If you have already placed both orders, I’m sorry but I cannot refund the shipping. It takes a lot of administrative work on the back end and since I am currently undergoing treatment I do not have the energy for that. 

What if i want to send my order as a gift?

I love it! You can have it sent directly to the recipient if you fill in their address as the shipping address. If you type a message to the recipient in the notes at checkout, I will write this on a card on your behalf to include in the box for your gift recipient! 

If you want to give the gift yourself, send your order to your own address. If you would like a blank Claymeleon card to write on, let me know in the comments at checkout.

You don't ship to my country, what now?

Send me a message (use the contact form or DM me on Instagram) with which country you’d like me to add and I’ll let you know if it’s possible!

I’m sorry, but I can’t ship to the UK anymore because of the strict post-Brexit rules for business packages.
